A tropical storm watch is in place via the NWS Guam for Yap at this time. The island continues to get impacted by this developing storm with heavy rainfall and gusty conditions as soon to be named Bising / Surigae intensifies.
The extended forecast continues to show the storm moving north west and then north east of the Philippines but close enough where the Philippines still needs to be on alert. The storm is in a weak steering environment thus there remains some uncertainty on where exactly it would go.
