⬆️When practicing Hypopressives the bellybutton should slide and glide upwards
As an automatic reaction during the apnea/false inhale.
•
🤔What is the significance of the belly button rising ?
•
👉👉There is a thin fascial layer that extends from the bellybutton towards and enclosing the bladder known as the umbilical fascia. ( simplified )
•
😳Soooo when the belly button rises it is a great indicator that the bladder is also being elevated.
😮This why I believe the bladder prolapses TEND to be the first to respond to the Hypopressive practice.
( yes each body is unique and one may notice a change with an other organ first )
😉Don’t worry the other organs within the pelvic cavity also respond well due to the intricate web of fascia and ligaments so as one moves they all gradually over time and practice begin to lift.
👏👏 The great thing is …. along with the decongestion of the pelvic cavity you get a really nice internal massage that encourages circulation among other things.
•
🤔How is this different then voluntarily/ consciously zipping or pulling the belly button in and up?
👉Activity pulling the belly button in and up can increase pressure and send the pressure towards the pelvis. If this pressure is repeated, over time one may develop a weak link and start to show signs and symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction or become more symptomatic with a current dysfunction.

📝PLEASE note that in my text I use the words “may” “can” “tend” “dictator”
WHY MAKE mention of this ?
Because every BODY is UNIQUE… and therefore one can never state with 💯 certainty that EVERYONE responds the same way …
HOWEVER I can tell you one thing is for certain …
You won’t get results if you don’t try it ;) ;)
