Lucknow Chidiya Ghar / Lucknow Zoo is one of the biggest zoo in India !
लखनऊ चिड़ियाघर काफी बड़ा है और इसमें सभी तरह के जानवर, पक्षी, सांप देखने को मिल जायेंगे।
This zoo is in the heart of the city and spread across seventy acres. It's a must visit Lucknow tourism spot as over ten lakh people visit the zoo every year.
The zoo houses over one thousand animals like Giraffe, Tiger, Lion, Cheetah, Hippopotamus, Monkey, Chimpanzee, Snakes, Dears and many more.
Upon my visit to the zoo there was a snake attack where a king cobra / python had come out of its cage, luckily he was rescued on time by the zoo officials and everyone was safe.
The Lucknow zoo also doubles up as a picnic spot as the zoo has a toy train and a huge pond for paddle boating. It even has a huge cafeteria that offers lots of Lucknow Street Food.
