In the old days, stamps were glued to the envelope and if you wanted to remove the stamp, you could steam it off. Self-adhesive stamps can also be easily removed if you have a heat gun and apply heat for a VERY brief amount of time. Be careful since heat guns can put out some really hot air, FAST!
