Come check out our 1 bedroom 1 bathroom all-inclusive apartment with a view at M2 Hippodrome in Tbilisi Georgia for $456 per month!
While this was our smallest apartment, I loved the view from the balcony overlooking the city (especially on NYE!), the proximity to Hippodrome, and the three convenience stores plus an ATM throughout the complex.
This is the second M2 apartment complex that we've lived in during our time in Tbilisi and I would highly recommend M2 complexes based off both of our experiences so far. The buildings are modern; the complexes are high-end; there are security guards at all entrances.
For the size of the apartment, this was a bit overpriced. However, we decided to book this apartment for a 3 month rental through AirBNB for a couple of different reasons.
1) In November, we were unsure of how long we'd be able to stay in Georgia due to the pandemic. Our visas technically expire in March 2021 and most owners/landlords/agents won't accept a lease shorter than 6 months.
2) With it being the winter season, I really didn't want to have to worry about how much our gas bill would be. When you book through AirBNB, all utilities are included even if you book monthly stays. It gave me a peace of mind to not have to be super conscious about how long we've had the heater going, if we're using too much water, or if we left the lights on.
3) We had stayed in this same unit before during a weekend vacation so we already knew we'd be happy here and knew what to expect.
