Northern Territory Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the state Labor government has been “dogged” with scandals and cannot get “on top of the issues”.
“Labor have been treating them (people) like fools for a very long time,” Ms Finocchiaro told Sky News Australia.
“A shuffling of the deck chairs isn’t going to breathe new life into this government.”
This comes as Northern Territory Chief Minister Natasha Fyles announced her resignation in a shock press conference on Tuesday.
Northern Territory Treasurer Eva Lawler has emerged as her potential replacement.
