Shinra Kusakabe vs Yuito Sumeragi (Fire Force vs Scarlet Nexus)
-Main Protagonists who at the start of the series join a special military like group (The Fire Force and The Osf) that are filled with people with special abilities (people with pyrokinetic abilities and people with psionic abilities) with the goal of said group being to protect the world form monsters (Infernals and Others)
-both wanted to be heroes since a young age
-both would face a traumatic event at a young age where they would nearly die (Shinras house suddenly burst into flames supposedly taking the lives of his mother and brother and yuito was attacked by an Other and nearly killed) but they would be saved by a mysterious member of the military group (Leonard Burns and Kasane Randall) who they later meet once again when they join the group although they have many questions for them about the incident... which dont get answered for a while
- both join a platoon ran by a accomplished member of the group
-the monsters they fight (Infernals and Others) are actually former humans having become twisted beings that lose their humanity. Although some still hold on to a bit of their humanity
-and while things seemed alright for a while their lives would become far darker once they find out that high ranking members of the group have been transforming humans into the monsters they fight and that there is a huge conspiracy in the government that is tied to an ancient civilization that isn't from their world
-they would also find out that someone close to them were turned into one of these monsters and taken away to someplace (Shinra's mom and Naomi Randall) which would make them vow to find a cure for the monsters
-both them and their platoons would then find themselves fighting against the huge secret group that is has deep ties with the government which would also cause them to fight some fellow soldiers they fought alongside
-said secret group manipulated someone who they are close to (Sho and Nagi) who they'd be forced to fight against
-both would eventually go on a mission to a hospital where they were once tested on for contrasting reasons (shinra was tested on since he had powers and to see if he had an adolla burst while yuito was tested on since he had no powers and to see if he could artificially get powers)
-both find out that they have an extremely powerful abilities (Adolla Burst and Red Strings) that nearly destroyed the world (Adolla Bursts in the past caused the great cataclysm which nearly destroyed the world and The Red Strings created the Kunad Gate which if not stop will completely envelop the world)
