Simon takes to the water on an Irish Lough with a fully kitted out Belly Boat; the Savage Gear High Rider 170 V2, Thruster 36lb Motor and Pro-Motor Bags. Trolling and casting tactics are used to catch Pike using some of the larger Savage Gear lures.

In the HighRider V2 you will sit well above the waterline, in a very comfortable seat, that can easily be adjusted. The boat is straightforward to manoeuvre and cuts effortlessly through the water. The two-chamber construction gives the angler extra security. It also features a rigid U-frame with drop stitch air chamber floor, for extra high seating, comfort, and stability.
It is supplied with three waterproof EVA side boxes, with click lids and practical sliding rail strap system, as well as a large waterproof front bucket, also with click lid for safe storage.
We added drag pads under the frame so the boat can be dragged safely across ground on short venue changes. This is also aided by the practical front drag strap, that also locks the seat in place during transport with backpack straps.
It also features an easy-detachable crossbar and apron with measuring print, and offset pontoon air valves, giving space for mounts for echo sounders.
