Harry and his friends fly on Thestrals to the Ministry of Magic. But what's even more interesting is that even though only a few characters, like Harry, Luna and Neville, can actually see the Thestrals, anyone can ride them. It's just like how a blind person can ride an ordinary horse with the help of someone who can see. But can you imagine the fear and uncertainty of flying on the back of a creature you can't even see?
