Roald Dahl's macabre, cruel, and unsettling stories are still collectively known by the title of one of his short story collections - 'Tales of the Unexpected'. This was, no doubt, solidified by the television anthology bearing that name which adapted the stories in the 1970s and 1980s. However, when BBC Radio 4 came to adapt them they eschewed the name altogether, instead opting for the title of one of his other short story collections: 'Someone Like You'. After that initial series of five short dramas, three more series followed over the the next four years.
These have all been posted on the channel before, but individually. Viewing figures suggest that single episodes tend to get fewer views than when a series is bundled together in a single video, so I thought I'd test that by reposting all twenty adaptations in one long video. I've even called it 'Tales of the Unexpected', just for old times sake...
