बागेश्वर धाम के पीठाधीश्वर धीरेंद्र शास्त्री आज से हिंदू एकता पदयात्रा शुरू कर रहे हैं। ये यात्रा बागेश्वर धाम से ओरछा तक जाएगी। धीरेंद्र शास्त्री की इस पदयात्रा में शामिल होने के लिए हजारों की संख्या में लोग बागेश्वर धाम पहुंचे हैं। बीती रात वहां धीरेंद्र शास्त्री बड़ी संख्या में आए लोगों को संबोधित करते दिखे। इस दौरान उन्होंने कहा कि हिंदुओं पर अत्याचार हो रहा है और इसे रोकने के लिए सड़क पर उतरने की जरूरत है।
