Normally we think about plastic bottles being recycled to either make more plastic or to be made into bags and clothes. However, the company called Technisoil has discovered that plastic bottles can actually be made into a durable and eco-friendly road formula, which significantly reduces greenhouse gas production. They began using this revolutionary new formula in July 2020 when thousands of plastic bottles were utilized to pave a mile of new highway in Butte County, California. Since then, construction of these new roads have expanded to other parts of the country.
