Breaking News: A suspected terrorist having ties to the outlawed terrorist group Al Qaeda has been detained in Bengaluru as a result of a combined operation by the National Investigation Agency and the Internal Security Division of Karnataka (NIA). Arif, the accused, was detained on Saturday morning while he was employed at a computer business in Bengaluru. Arif, a citizen of Uttar Pradesh, may have been in contact with ISIS and making plans to join the terrorist group, according to ISD. The defendant had previously communicated with Al Qaeda. His laptop and other electronic equipment have been taken by the NIA for examination, and searchers are currently visiting his home in the Thanisandra neighbourhood of the city looking for further evidence.
