Casual Friday was intended to make things a little more relaxed for the generally buttoned-up, suit-and-tie business set. However, there have been reports that Casual Friday actually *increases* stress! The reason? Too many options and a nebulous standard attached to the Casual Friday dress code. In today's video, five business casual looks perfect for Casual Friday.

Casual Friday. Business casual. Smart casual. Unlike more formal dress codes, these three leave a lot open to interpretation. What they mean, exactly, can vary greatly depending on the industry or specific workplace. To keep it simple, I've identified five things to try to achieve your best business casual look:

1. Lose the tie.
2. No suit. Blazer/odd jacket and trousers.
3. Try a denim shirt.
4. Layer a sweater.
5. Loafers instead of lace-ups.

It's not necessary to incorporate all of these suggestions into every single look. Watch the video and you'll see that's certainly not what I did. However, Each outfit has a combination of these five things, except for the last look, which I threw in for the guys who work in a generally more casual work environment to begin with.
