In this activity, Steven Feldman, MD, PhD, and Jonathan Silverberg, MD, PhD, MPH, provide their clinical insights into the burden of disease experienced by persons with atopic dermatitis and strategies for management. They discuss how improved understanding of pathophysiologic mechanisms has led to the availability of new topical and systemic therapies that, when integrated with other therapies, can reduce patients’ disease burden.
