Today was the maiden voyage for the Southern Railroad of New Jersey on the Conrail section of the Salem Line north of the Swedesboro Interchange. CSAO and SRNJ came to an accord for Conrail to lease the section to SRNJ, so they are essentially running a full branch line now. Garmar Industries is now served by SRNJ in addition to their work with the Farmers Exchange. CSAO will now send the lumber and hoppers to the Woodbury Junction for SRNJ to retrieve instead of bringing it all the way to Swedesboro. The GP9 #100 is still leading the line, and is seen taking the lumber north to Garmar Industries in Woolwich, moving south back to Swedesboro, then further south through Woolwich and Pilesgrove with the full hoppers for the Farmers Exchange in Woodstown. The empty hoppers are left for next time to be taken to Woodbury for CSAO, and the full boxcar will be backed into Garmer Industries on the same run.
