Not many people use these stainless steel developing tanks these days but they have their advantages.
The plastic reels from AP, Paterson or Jobo and the film must be done dry when loading, otherwise the film may get stuck in the reels.
The stainless steel reel are easy to use even when the reel or film is wet. This is useful for black and white reversal processing where we would unreel the wet film out for a second exposure and then reel it back.
