Oleksy beat other beautiful goals created by several famous names at the 2022 FIFA Best Player Award Gala in Paris, Tuesday (28/2/2023) dawn WIB. Among them Richarlison, Theo Hernandez, Kylian Mbappe, Mario Balotelli and Dimitri Payet.
Oleksy's goal was created to win his team, Warta Pozna, over Stal Rzeszow with a score of 1-0 in the Polish Amputee Football League match (6/11/2022).
Oleksy's success became a historic moment because he became the first amputee footballer to win the FIFA Best Goal award.
"It's hard for me to imagine being able to receive this award and I can be standing here in front of you all receiving the best goal award in the world," Oleksy said, as quoted by BBC Sport.
