This tiny, Bluetooth, self-contained photo printer creates very nice looking 2x3" photo prints in under a minute using a thermal technique known as ZINK.

The question is ... how good are the prints? We'll compare them side by side Walgreens professionally printed 4x6" versions of the same images so you can see for yourself.

This "zero ink" printer means you're not going to be pouring money down a bottomless pit trying to keep it stocked with ink. Super easy to connect and use, this printer uses special thermal paper (about $0.50USD per print) instead of expensive liquid ink. It includes a rather powerful app for manipulating your photos first - color correction, stickers, titling, borders, rotation, zoom and much more - then you can batch queue several of them to print. It also includes a special "tile" mode where you can print a single picture out in up to 9 smaller pieces. The paper doubles as a sticker - just peel off the back.

My wife wanted a portable printer for her birthday and she was nice enough to let me review this before she used it. You can see a sample of her crafting work with it after the review.
