In this video you can ride along on Bundesstraße B9 from Sinzig to Bonn in Western Germany. This is the last segment of B9 along the Rhine river that I filmed on my journey from the Mainz area to the Ruhr area.

Sinzig, near to Remagen, is a mid-sized city not too far from Bonn and the Southern Ruhr area. Bonn was once the capital of Western Germany during the times the country was divided between West and East after the second world war. It therefore still says 'Bundeshauptstadt' on the city limit signs.

Bonn isn't as large as Cologne but has well over 300.000 inhabitants and is a big city. You can continue the drive in a different video on the Autobahn in the direction of Cologne: [ Ссылка ]
