YAKARI - EP16 - Yakari and the Grizzly
A grizzly bear is terrorizing the animals in the forest. Since he can’t swim, he forces the otters to fish for him. One of the otters rebels and the angry grizzly takes it out on the otter’s sisters. Yakari, Rainbow and Little Thunder intervene to protect the otter, but they have to run away because the bear is so ferocious. Since winter is near, Yakari decides to wait for the bear to hibernate so he can play a trick on him. With his friends’ help, Yakari pulls the sleeping bear across a frozen lake and leaves him on an island. When the grizzly wakes up in the spring, he is surrounded by water… and he still can’t swim! Trapped on the island, he has no choice but to promise to change his ways toward the other animals, since only then will he get any help from Yakari and swimming lessons from the otter.
