The old A60 bridge was finally demolished after standing for 125 years on 1st October 2022.

We placed the order for the bridge in April to beat inflation but could still do with raising some more funds, so we don't need to dip into the amount we've already raised for the next phases.

This part of the multimillion pound Reunification project is costing £1m pounds. When it's complete, three pieces of the jigsaw will be in place and £1.2m will have been raised towards two future phases! Thank you for all your support. We couldn't be doing it without you.
