At Star Rapid, we have advanced inspection measuring and testing equipment in-house to qualify all incoming raw materials. We perform plastics testing and also metals testing.
Our modern metrology lab ensures that your parts meet your exact specifications.
For incoming inspection, we use these 4 primary spectrometers along with other instruments. Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES Gun), X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer (XRF Gun), Polymax Gun and Bruker Alpha FTIR Infrared Spectrometer.
We offer Positive Material Identification (PMI) for all incoming materials so you have complete confidence you receive exactly what you ordered.
