DEBATE : The world’s most popular sport plunged into turmoil. Two inquiries have been launched into corruption at the world football governing body. One investigating 150 million dollars in bribes allegedly taken by officials over a 24 year period; 14 arrests were made today including 7 senior who were awaiting the start of the FIFA congress in Zurich. Another investigation is aimed at the awarding of the 2018 world cup to Russia and 2022 to Qatar. We look at the likely fallout of this latest scandal.
