The case of Charmane Goins, a man accused of killing a Chattanooga woman and burning her body, will go to trial.
In an Atlanta courtroom this morning, a judge decided to send the case to trial.
He's charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of 26-year-old Lauren Taylor.
Gwinnett County police say Goins had an affair with Taylor.
Her body was found in October by a couple out walking their dog in a park near Atlanta.
According to arrest warrants, Taylor was strangled to death, then burned.
Taylor's mother was in court today for the hearing.
