airBaltic operates a fleet of Boeing 757, Boeing 737 (300 and 500 series) and Fokker F50 aircraft to various destinations in Europe, Egypt, Dubai and CIS countries.
The Fokker 50 is based on the Fokker F-27 Friendship fuselage but incorporates numerous improvements incl. the powerplant and more advanced avionics. The last Fokker F50 was delivered in 1997. Fokker ceased aircraft manufacturing in 1996. Fokker was later on acquired by Stork Aerospace.
