One of our favorite late-summer bloomers for perennial gardens is Sedum. Sedum comes in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, all of which are sun-loving and drought-tolerant. Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Director with Petitti Garden Centers, to learn more about the different varieties of Sedum and how to care for them in your garden. One thing to remember is that Sedum are very popular with the pollinators, especially Bees, so we typically recommend keeping them away from high-traffic areas and walkways in your garden. Some of our favorite varieties include the classic Autumn Joy Sedum, the medium-height Sun Sparkler series and the ground cover variety, Angelina.
