In this video, I question the idea of a core set, how broken it is in terms of power, and how that ties into the storytelling of Rokugan. I ask good questions like, how do we get rid of characters and change clan champions if we can't rotate core. How do we get rid of broken cards if core can't go away? And how failure to address the core set of the game will lead to both stagnation in terms of storyline and gameplay.
