This year I didn’t bake much as I am unable to since my injury for now. However, I tried a new recipe and to be honest I find my usual recipe much better. It’s a new year’s Mediterranean cake that is also called a Vasilopita in Greece, especially made for new year’s. A coin is washed and rapped in tin foil before being inserted in the dough or after it’s baked. Whoever gets the piece with the coin will have luck throughout the year!
