A day after Swami Prasad Maurya resigned from the Yogi Adityanath Cabinet, an arrest warrant was issued against him for an alleged 'hate speech' in 2014. An MP-MLA court in Sultanpur on Wednesday ordered Maurya to present himself before January 24.
Maurya had allegedly spoken against some Hindu Gods in 2014.
Speculations are rife that Swami Prasad Maurya is all set to join Samajwadi Party. He has made it clear that he would not return to the saffron party fold.
