Looking for a Cruiser that you can trailer? Then come with me on this walk thru tour of this 1997 Chaparral 290 Signature Express. She's very well powered with twin Mercruiser 350's @ 250 HP each.
The cockpit has a fold up transom seat that doubles as a coaming pad when fishing and gives more room. Above, there is a portside chaise lounger with a removable table. The helm has a bucket seat for the captain, a vhf radio, sirius stereo and of course a dual gauge package to keep an eye on the engines. Once inside there is a galley to port with a stove, Microwave, sink,and refrigerator. The salon has a circular seating area that converts to a sleeping area along with a forward V berth.
To starboard we have a head with a marine toilette, fiberglass vanity and RV style Shower. An interesting feature is the entry to the mid cabin: there's a door with an area that doubles as a stand up changing area which is a "Ladies Like it" Feature. The mid berth offers a double wide full beam bed, a window for light and air along with a hanging locker. This boat can be loaded on it's triple axle trailer and hauled to many vacation spots or easily stored.
