The advanced stroke panel is used to create and edit custom strokes. This feature is in Fireworks from the early versions (Fireworks 1or 2). While Fireworks does not have versatile tool like brushes in Photoshop, you can still achieve unique effects with Fireworks built-in stroke like the Bokeh effect, stars from the outer space or even clouds, etc. All the effects requiring random objects.
