Schools across Manipur will remain shut for eight days in view of extreme cold and the upcoming festivities of Christmas and New Year. The holiday starting Saturday will end on December 30. The violence-hit state is bracing for colder days as the temperature is likely to dip below 10 degrees Celsius.
