Canoe trip in Algonquin Park, alone for seven days. This is video is about my seven day solo canoe trip in the north end of Algonquin Provincial Park.
It was late June and I set out on a seven day canoe trip in the north end of Algonquin for a trip alone in this beautiful and popular wilderness area. My canoe route would be to slow travel, starting at Algonquin Access Point One located on Kawaywaymog (Round) Lake. From Kawaywaymog I'd do a loop through North Tea Lake (west arm), Mangotasi Lake, Biggar Lake, Three Mile Lake, Manitou Lake and back to North Tea Lake (east arm) before leaving the park through Kawaywaymog.
I really enjoyed slow travelling through the park because it gave me time to focus on photography and video while taking in this amazing Ontario Provincial Park.
I thought I'd try to make two or three days of travel into one video and have this as a two part series but when I sat down to edit this backcountry canoe trip there was just so much good image content I couldn't resist to make day one the first part. I'm not sure if the following videos will be individual days or a combination but reflecting on all that I saw while I was out in Algonquin, I think it's likely this will be a canoe trip series that shows each day by day.
I hope you enjoy it.
