Here are some tips from a 4th generation dry cleaner to save money when doing laundry:
1) Stop using so much detergent / product. A little bit will go a long way.
2) Stain remover can be expensive, a good laundry detergent will do a very good job with for most stain pretreatments. Dish soap too!
3) Use powdered laundry boosters like borax, washing soda, powdered oxygen bleach, and baking soda. My recipe is 2 parts washing soda, 1 part borax, 1 part oxygen bleach, and 1 part baking soda (optional since it’s less effective than washing soda).
4) Since youre using some good turbocharged products, you don’t need the heavy lifting from hot water. There is a time and place for hot water, like sanitization and whitening, however modern machines and products performance super well in cold water.
I hope this helps 😊
