Works Perfectly!
I have no idea why other people have had problems with this - if you follow the directions, it works great! I assembled it with no problems, made some fresh buttercream frosting, and it required relatively little effort to extrude. The directions tell you to assemble the device with the bags before you put any frosting in them and make sure that the three nozzles are keyed together correctly - otherwise, the threads don't line up and I doubt that they will even fit together flush like they are supposed to. I feel like store-bought icing is too viscous to be used with this device - I've always found those very difficult to work with in general. Freshly made buttercream at room temperature worked great for me - I just rolled the bags up together at the top like a kayaking dry bag, and the look and consistency of the final product was perfect on the first try (photo attached).
The directions do say that you can use just two nozzles, but this doesn't make any sense to me - of course the frosting is going to come out the path of least resistance, so partially through the tip and partially backwards through the third nozzle. This just seems like common sense to me.
