Many professions lead their practitioners to specialize in distinct and defined fields. Yet, in reality, the boundaries are becoming less clear and many fields affect each other and are relevant to one another: psychology and politics; sport and health; mathematics and decision-making, etc. The speakers at this plenary are the leading experts in their fields and their expertise gives them fascinating insights into fields that are supposedly not their own.
