Strategy:
1. Double Hero Drink. Mime=Counter will ensure you get to 4x Hero Drinks for 100% stat bonus asap. Added Cuts will heal your life to mitigate Ruby's attacks on you while you buff up.
2. Cast Death Force. Also, comes with a healing self-cut and is a priority so you don't die from Death-sentence.
3. Use Spider Web and Dazers. These net you 1 pot-shot each to Ruby, slows him, and paralyzes him long enough for step 4.
4. Use Remedy and Speed Drink if you have slow-petrify then Big Guard afterwards like in the vid or just cast Big Guard while Ruby is dazed. You get healing self-cuts as well.
5. After you've cast Big Guard and aren't in slow-petrify status, use Vaccine and Dazers. This is to prevent Slow-petrify and any other status ailments for the rest of the match and to 'lock-in' Haste. You won't be able to benefit from Great Gospel's Peerless status but it's fine as Great Gospel is just a nuisance here (you end up just casting it with Mime=Counter before you can attack wasting time until the Peerless status runs out effectively wasting Great Gospel's biggest asset before you benefit from it).
6. After Dazers use 4x-Cut for a total of 5 attacks a.k.a. "5x-Cut". Do this twice after Dazers then prime Megalixir or whatever item you want that targets yourself then keep your pointer on Dazers.
7. Ruby will attack you after he comes out of paralysis, this is when you use that primed Dazers on him. You will: 1. Heal self-cut yourself from Megalixir or whatever you used to target yourself, 2. Paralyze Ruby with Dazers and do a pot-shot attack at him.
8. Repeat step 6-7 until dead.
9. You can throw a Pandora's box every now and then 2x after Dazers then prime Megalixir/Elixir or whatever and keep your pointer at Dazers casting it only after Ruby attacks if you're getting bored of seeing 2.3-5k damage and want to see a beefy 9999 even if it takes forever for the animation to finish.

Note:
1. Can be done much earlier than lvl99 if you have the equipment and materia available
2. Source farming to 255 makes stat-boosting accessories like Curse Ring unnecessary and takes away the fun/unique traits of every character.
3. Having Aeris available in this part of the game is not possible normally but thanks to 4-8Productions we can finally have her back for the entirety of the game with all her equipment and adding another layer to an already perfect game several decades later!
