This chapter also has two versions. You'll get the other version if the sum of Priscilla, Serra, Lucius, and Erk's levels are higher than the sum of Dorcas, Guy, Bartre, and Raven's levels, and you'll get the this version if it's the other way around.
Depending on what you do in each version you will also get another party member once again.
Recruitable units:
On the other map: To get Harken, you must NOT defeat more than 1 promoted enemy by the end of turn 9. To get Karel, you must defeat 2 or more promoted enemies by the end of turn 9. Talk to Harken with either Eliwood or Hector. Talk to Karel with your main lord.
On this map: To get Harken, you must NOT open more than 3 doors by the end of turn 9. To get Karel, you must open more than 3 doors by the end of the turn 9. Talk to Harken with either Eliwood or Hector. Talk to Karel with your main lord.
Both units are decent replacements if you haven't been training a Myrmidon or Mercenary until now and still need one.
