A HUGE blaze has erupted on a tower block with plumes of black smoke billowing across the capital.

The fire erupted at the high rise Relay Building on Whitechapel High Street sparking dozens of calls to the emergency services.

The London Fire Brigade said 15 engines and 100 firefighters responded to the fire on the 17th floor of the residential building.

This video posted on March 7 shows flames and smoke erupting from the building and pieces of debris falling to the street below.
