Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) infantry brigades recently conducted a live-ammunition drill in northeast China.
The infantry troops, from the Lanzhou Military Command Area and Shenyang Military Command Area, were divided into two groups, red and blue.
When the drill began, the artillery troops in the red launched attacks on the blue group. However, their attack failed as it was hard for them to scout the hideout of the blue, instead, they exposed their spot. And then the blue group dispatched armed helicopters, aimed to launch air strike.
The red divided into groups to attack the "enemy"'s armed helicopters. The artillery troops moved fast to the scheduled launching site, and fired at the ground forces of the blue for the second time.
Meanwhile, infantries of the red group launched attack against fortifications of the blue. After a fire exchange, the red successfully broke into the camp site of the "enemy".
The airborne unit of the blue group launched a counterattack from behind the red group. After quick adjustment, the red group besieged the "enemy" and triumphed at last.
