Ribbing is just for knitters, right? Wrong! You can just as easily crochet ribbing, and this video tutorial by Heidi Gustad will show you how. By alternating rows of single crochet stitches and slip stitches, you will create a ribbed piece of fabric that looks just like the knitters make. This is a great way to add some stretch to the bottom band of a hat, for instance, or to work into the sides of a sweater or top design to add just a bit of stretchiness.
