How to turn the engine on in #BMW cars without the key in the ignition. This feature allows you to start the car and go back home with keys in your pocket - even if you don't have comfort access / kessy / keyless feature in your BMW.
Simply put the remote in the ignition, once the steering wheel is unlocked you can remove the key, then within few seconds try to start the engine. CAS module should allow you to start the engine without the keyfob in the ignition. Now you can leave your car for few minutes without the leaving the key in the ignition.
ℹ️ This procedure should work in most modern BMW cars, including but not limited to: BMW 1-Series E87, 3-Series E90, 5-Series E60, 6-Series E63, 7-Series E65, X1 E84, X3 E83, X5 E70.
