Milos is a stunning island of the Cyclades in Greece, East of Santorini. Me and my family spent 10 days last year exploring each hidden gem on this island. Not yet spoiled by tourism, the landscapes and people offer a rare authenticity that is now often missing in the more well-known islands of the region.

Beyond the outstanding beauty this unique part of the world has seen and still witnesses the most tragic events one can possibly imagine... I would like to dedicate this film to the memory of Alan Kurdi and all the children that didn't make it to those shores. May those lives cut short become a light for us.
