A lot of local sports bars use these BEIN sports satellite boxes to show football and other sports. This one has a new paid subscription but the Smart Card will not activate. The box says the Smart Card is not present. So I need to repair it if I can. Of course, before you can fix anything it helps a lot if you understand how it works, or how it is supposed to work. So what does the Smart Card actually do?
