This is a test to find best choke tube constriction for APEX TSS Waterfowl hunting ammo. In this review I tested Carlson's choke tubes and Muller choke tubes at 40 yards to see how each pattern. I used the following choke tubes: modified, full, extra full, decoy, passing, UFO. This is high performance APEX #9 shot tungsten traveling at 1550 fps in a 3" shell. It is ideal for hunting ducks, geese, pheasants, and much more at long range. I was very surprised with the test results.

In this experiment I used my Mossberg 940 Pro Waterfowl shotgun with its 28" barrel. I did the test at a certified range using quality eye and ear protection. The choke tube giving the best pattern density was not what I expected. Also the recoil was not too high.
