Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in the Police Commemoration Day Parade at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium (IGMS), Vijayawada on 21st October, 2023.

The Chief Minister paid homage to the police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty. He also inspected the parade and took the salute of the marching contingents.

In his address, the Chief Minister lauded the sacrifices made by the police force and said that the government is committed to providing all necessary support to the police. He also announced a number of welfare measures for the police personnel and their families.

The Police Commemoration Day is observed every year on 21st October to pay homage to the police personnel who have laid down their lives in the line of duty.
