Rudi Skacel made his debut for Hearts under George Burley in season 2005/06, and memorable performances against Hibernian, Rangers and Celtic, amongst others, secured his place as a club legend. Skacel scored in his first seven games for the club, notching an impressive tally of 16 during his first season in Gorgie, and his performances won him a move to England. After finding his opportunities down South limited, he returned for a second spell at his beloved Tynecastle in 2010 and continued where he had left off by firing 25 SPL goals in two seasons. After leaving Hearts at the end of the 2010/11 campaign he signed for Dundee United, making 14 appearances and scoring one goal.
