Pedro Rodrigues Filho, aka "Pedrinho Matador," was a Brazilian serial killer who exclusively targeted suspected criminals as a teenager, claiming to have killed over 100 drug dealers, rapists, and murderers. He served 34 years in prison for 71 confirmed murders before his release in 2007. After being imprisoned again in 2011, he was released in 2018 and became a Brazilian celebrity and YouTuber, advocating against crime. His story inspired the Dexter Morgan novel series and television show, and he was internationally known as the "Brazilian Dexter" and the "South American Punisher." Rodrigues had a troubled upbringing and began his crime spree at age 14, including the murder of the deputy mayor of his town and the slaughter of a rival gang in revenge for his pregnant girlfriend's murder.
