Engineer Rashid, the President of the Awami Ittehad Party and Member of Parliament, has surrendered to Tihar Jail on October 28. His interim bail, which had been extended until this date due to his father's health concerns, originally granted on October 2, has now come to an end. Rashid was arrested in connection with a terror funding case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
